Picnic

This post is going to be about yesterday.
So, (which seems to be the conjunctive that I always use to start sentences with in this blog... WHICH I SHOULD NOT DO) my friends and I met up in Durham yesterday, and yes, we had a picnic.
There was Danielle;

And Nick;

And Dominic;

And finally...ME!

Oh, it was a great day. The weather was pleasant, the company was cracking, and there was good crack to be had.

We then kind of hired a boat and Richard appeared.
Nonetheless, I'm going to describe what I wore for you.

That one shows almost everything I wore bar my shoes!
#1 Big nerdy glasses (Woooooo)
#2 Navy Vest (with halter-type straps because it has a cool bit at the back) - Matalan £6
#3 Purple Cardigan
#4 TOPSHOP Bike Chain necklace
#5 New blue washed out denim jeans- £4 T.K.MAXX, I LOVE YOU.
#6 OWL SOCKS.
#7 Ribbon dolly shoes, denim outer.

Yeah, I did a slight double denim, but not really!

That's what the back of my vest looks like. I really like it ^_^

Anyway, I'm wearing my cat hoodie now and it makes me happy.
Revision ahoy.

Keep safe and warm,
Haze

Gold Seamed

Mum bought me some new tights.
Well, she bought them thinking they were ALL gold.
Oh no, they're just gold seamed.
But now I've laddered them.
By doing this:

Oh goodness, today was hillarious, lovely, and exhausting. I did a considerable amount of running. Like I totally burned off the cheese toastie I had from Subway!

Ok, so none of those pictures show the gold seaming of the tights, but right up the whole of the back of my legs are gold seams. LOVELY.

These pictures were taken at the park by my LOVELY friend Danielle.
Thankyou.
And I dislike you. But yeah, thanks ^_^

#1 Biiiig necklace (like the little black bracelet I wear, like a tag but this one's big and silver and I don't know where it came from!)
#2 Blue and yellow striped jumper (£7- Dunnes)
#3 DENIMMMM MILITARY STYLE JACKET (I am in love with this) £25 but worth every penny! JUST LOOK AT THE SHOULDER DETAILS! (L)
#4 Big black and gold belt (I've just realised that it matched my tights...this was not intentional. Wow! I LOVE IT WHEN THINGS MATCH!)
#5 New culotte type black shorts. THEY ARE AMAZING (£12 T.K.Maxx)
#6 The size 14-16 gold seamed tights (hence the Nora Batty ankles... grrrrrrr)
#7 New dolly pumps (£9.99 T.K.Maxx)- They're tied with a pink ribbon, the only thing that didn't match. I could have changed it, but they're too cute.

Oh, and in the corner is my Mini Jansport rucksack, just because I wanted to add to that "Vintage Tourist" look today, and I think I did it well!
Plus, the boys were able to stash their wallets in there when we went skating.
The rink melted.
We got our money back.
WHOOPAH!

I also got a new earring (because I broke the ball on the other one) and ran up 2 hills and across some roads (SAFELY) today. Time to eat.

Keep safe, warm and happy,
Haze

Double Whammy (in technicolour)

And some!
Ok, so over the past three days, I've been in the ponderous place of LEEDS! I love it!
People speak with the best accents, and are generally just lovely! No exaggeration! Shop workers have conversations with you. It's GREAT. Very little hostility.

This meant that we visited Dunnes, and then T.K.Maxx. I HAVE SOME NEW CLOTHES. YAAAAAAAAAAY!
So, expect those sometime soon or whatever.
Here's what I wore on... Monday!

I'm stood on a bed. Really CLASSY Haze, really.
I think this is probably my favourite top, ever.
But it's yellow. That annoys me a little bit. Apart from that, I adore it. It's so true.

#1 "Reading is POWER" top (T.K. Maxx at some-point in my life)
#2 Purple cardigan
#3 Purple ruffle skirt (Matalan)
#4 Stripy M&S tights (wooly of course!)

and some red nail varnish.
Here's me without feet and a forehead:
And onto what I wore today!

Now, I adore this top also, but it's a medium, and makes me feel very conscious of the fact that it's tight. OH WELL.
I love those boys, and that's no understatement. They're amazing. Or at least my memory of them is, and what they worked for was wonderful. I don't want to spoil those memories.
Enough of that, onto me looking like a scene KIDDDD.

Oh yeah.
And be'ore you ask, it ain't realllll. Isss faaakeeee blaaad.
Yah mannn, mah new hat is sikkk, see it, checkk ittt, glare.
I even had my Etines on today, after I got the hat, I wore it walking to the car.
I strutted to the car.

I was properly in the ghetto get up. I loved that moment.
I even had the bad boiii ghetto blaster on my t-shirt!
My hair looks siiikkkkk (in a bad way here) because it just does.
Oh yeah, and I didn't put any make up on today, so I lost scenoooo points there.
But I did listen to, recognise and rather enjoy the new Kids In Glass Houses song on Radio Oneee, checckkkitttt.

I'm feeling cool, aiii'te?
Oh, and I would never consider actually gettting my lip done, it looks st00pid.

Re-cap:
#1 New Capppppp (£4.99)
#2 Red Cardi (of legend)
#3 Stereo Decade top (just check them out, they're beautiful do it HERE)
#4 Skinny jeansss ('cos I'm badasssss and hardcore)
#5 Purple tartan Etnies (for kicking asses)

I'm excited by clothing.
I like it when both my Mum and my sister pick things out in shops because they're especially weird and say "It looks like something Hazel would wear/like to wear/could wear/could somehow pull off/will suggest to her to see if she's as much of a plonker to say she'd wear it or not"

:D

Keep safe and warm (and colourful),

Non-Uniform Day

I feel like I should like...tell you about this decision here.
So, non-uniform day means my own clothes, and not a white cotton blouse and black school blazer jacket.

Mum bought me new tights.
Of course I am going to wear them to school!
Also, Charlie McDonnell's "I Look Better In Purple" t-shirt just was crying out to be worn, and admired by at least 10 people today (at least 5 in my immediate recollection of today's events commented on it saying "I like your T-shirt Hazel" and smiled :D

BEHOLD! IT'S ME STOOD ON A TABLE THIS MORNING! And regard, the VICE! Hahahahahahahahahaha oh my life just is made of WIN.
So! Here goes!
#1 Navy blazer jacket, rolled up sleeves (£12, Dewhirst)
#2 Charlie's "Purple" t-shirt
#3 Marie Curie Daffodil
#4 "Connected Generation" shorts - £7.00 Clothes Show - Read on about these
#5 Clear and blue tights paired together for warmth (It rained a lot today) - M&S
#6 THE PURPLE TARTAN ETNIES! (I actually LIVE in them, so comfortable, and they make me walk like a gangster, all is schweeeet)

Sorry for looking evil in this picture.

Yes, the shorts.
I bought them, and they were a size LARGE. I held them up to my waist and thought, yeah they'll be fine! Got home...and they dropped to my ankles. So, being a fashionista, I took them in, superbly neatly, and was able to wear them, and love them, and cherish them, and FLAUNT them.
UNTIL TODAY.
Well, don't get me wrong, I wore them ALL DAY. Until the stitching popped during choir, and I had to hoist them up to carry a stand from hall to hall (quite a trek inside because it was LAMPING IT DOWN WITH RAIN). That was not fun, but it was funny when I later got out of the car to discover them almost around my ankles. All in all, I just need to take them in again!

Keep safe and warm, especially this Easter,

Tidy Up!

I had a big sort out of clothes today.
There was this LOOMING pile of shirts, skirts, leggings, tights and vests on my chair. So I sorted them, and ended up looking like this:

Holding my ukulele there.
Check out how SEXY my knees are.
So, I'm wearing:

#1 Purple M&S Pure Merino Wool jumper
#2 Edinburgh panel skirt (ties up)
#3 White Dorothy knee high socks
#4 Black- snakeskin heels (Matalan £12)

and the Mika necklace, but it cropped out. My legs were a bit too long for the shot. I never thought I'd say that!

The shoes remind me of Irish Dancing shoes, do they not?

Anyway, my face is not worthy of showing today, and I feel like I have neglected this blog.
I actually DRESSED FOR THIS BLOG. It's oddly...overpowering; the sensation that I have to satisfy readers with what I choose to wear.
I hope to post tomorrow too, after finding all of these vests and things, I feel a planned outfit worthy of even TUMBLR coming along!

Keep safe and warm,

Erik Hassle and neglect.

I HAVEN'T WORN ANYTHING NOTEWORTHY SINCE MY LAST POST, WORD.

So yeah, that's me, in proper GIG mode.
I love it.
So much. Getting ready, getting sweaty...no wait, not that bit.
The excessive fringe flicking? FAIL

I am wearing:
#1 NEW BRACES. NOT FUN TO BE IN PAIN AT A GIG. FACT.
#2 Glasses
#3 LIPSTICK THAT HAS MADE MY LIPS SORE. FTL. (I should know better, the last time I wore it was for the Mika video, I was sore after that...honestly, I just *don't* learn)
#4 Two plain vests
#5 My new ling bird top with baggy tie sleeves from Primarni (£6)
#6 THE SILVER JACKET (£3- I KNOW, RIGHT???? THANKYOU LIZ :D)
#7 Becky's necklace, Mika said he liked it <3
#8 Purple cardigan
#9 Two pairs of black tights
#10 Black wet look leggings
#11 PURPLE TARTAN HI TOPS

WOO ELEVEN PIECE OUTFIT SHIZZLE!
Twelve if you count the bracelet, but I kind of didn't.
What a beautiful evening.

I might post one on t'other blog about like...how it was and pictures maybe :D

Japes

I've been away from home.
In LEEDS!
Which I love!
Sorry this isn't a better picture, it's a screenshot from a video because I didn't manage to take a picture during the day!
Here, we see me running like a little child. Sorry again about the quality.
So:
#1 Pink pigtail/plait woollen hat
#2 Accessorize Scarf- greens, golds and pinks
#3 V.V.Brown Shirt (printed by James)
#4 Purple Cardigan (I JUST LOVE IT, OK?)
#5 Miss-behave black jacket - it's really old and I found it yesterday, and thought it sort of went and is warm (:
#6 Jeans again
#7 Purple music notes socks (WOO)
#8 Hi-tops again

And now, this is what I'm wearing today!

(I'm reading Sebastian Faulks' "Birdsong" here, for English)
#1 Glasses
#2 Accessorize scarf again, it's warm and lovely!
#3 Purple jumper with a red vest underneath (M&S jumper)
#4 Carigan (AGAIN I KNOW BUT I AM AWAY FROM MY WARDROBE, I JUST PACKED IT OK?)

I love those tights! They're so bright!

Anywhooo, I'm going to go and actually read that book now and journey home!

Keep safe and warm,
Haze

Pretty songs about ugly things

That is our back door.
Today is a Monday in the holidays, so I have gone for something simple, but still like, individual? :
#1 Glasses, purple, Red or Dead
#2 Really cool necklace from our family in Huddersfield, it's got engraved pearly shells hanging on it, and pom poms and crocheted flowers. It's amazing.
#3 Purple cardigan (Dunnes- £12)
#4 White cotton fair-trade v-neck vest (No idea how much, Mum bought them, but M&S)
#5 Skinny crocodile pattern around the knee jeans
#6 Double studded belt (£4.50-£6 Claire's Accessories)
#7( you can't see them here, but) Purple Tartan Etnie hi-tops (£25- T.K.Maxx)

My leg looks really odd there, and you can see my cardigan ribbon, but I'm not about perfection here.
You can see the crocodile-y bit on my jeans in this picture too.

I'm going to go to the library if I can find my hat in a moment.

Keep safe and warm,
Haze

(p.s. it was cold when I took these pictures)

Hope amongst sorrow

"Happy" Valentine's Day y'all!

I got dressed this morning thinking that we were going to see Avatar. Evidently, we are not.
That would have been embarassing. I shall write about why in my other blog later, this one is about the clothes and photos, yes?

Today features:
#1 NERD SPECS <3 (£7.50 Clothes Show)
#2 Gary "Meow" pink t-shirt (£10 Clothes Show)
#3 New pink and black floral hughwaisted lantern with braces skirt from Primark (£9- WIN)
#4 Black wet look leggings (£3 Matalan)

and it would have been the purple Etnie tartan hi-tops but I am not leaving the house or standing on my bed in those today.

I am holding a wooden rose.
I gave it to myself for today.

"Individual style"

Or Abstract. Less than threeeee.

So today was a day of two outfits really.
I got up and stuck a black vest and jumper on, and some trakkie bottoms (like joggers) after my shower, and then was told that we were going out to Darlington. So I got changed.

This is my mother and I walking down a street today.

So, my carefully (wait, I shall explain within this bracket that "carefully" is not the right adverb here at all- these were all components on the "Chair of Clean Clothes That Never Get Put Away, so I just put them on and hey, they looked like this) constructed outfit today was :
(head to toe)
#1 A little heart clip in my hair (which didn't really do anything, but looked cute)
#2 My purple glasses
#3 Standard blue loop earrings
#4 Black "I'm a YouTube star!" t-shirt (£7.50 from The Clothes Show)
#5 Navy blazer with rolled up sleeves (£12 from a department outlet in Peterlee)
#6 Rainbow bead bracelet (£2 or something from Claire's Accessories)
#7 Papaya blue and purple "Mika" ('cos I wore it in my WAG video ;]) skirt (£9-12 from Matalan)
#8 Blue wetlook leggings (£3 Matalan)
#9 Pink socks (CHRISTMAS IN THE PAST)
#10 Limited edition Dr.Marten black boots and black laces (which are too long) (about £25)

Oh and #11 The Mitten/Gloves (Accessorize, from Liz)

You'll never guess what right.
I was in the Body Shop, getting some new liquid eyeliner whilst out today, and fair enough, the chavs did stare, I do not blame them. Lots of blue to look at. Anyway, Regina Spektor's "The Calculation" was on in the shop, and I was boogieing on down. I mean REALLY. And singing blaha blahh. And the really smiley shop assistant woman was like "Can I just say, I really like your style! If I was a young person today, I would be dressing like you!" And kept saying other things like "Good on you girl, be an individual!" It put a RIGHT spring in my step! I couldn't believe it! I thought my outfit was a mess today! But I like being me, and just cobbling things together and somehow pulling it off. My Dad said that "She doesn't wear Ugg boots like the crowd" and the woman was like "I really like your boots and your style, individual blahh blahh :D"

So I went and bought a book, a new skirt and a new top today. No doubt they'll appear on here soon enough. Oh, and I'm going to point out now that I will not be posting on this everyday, as I do wear a school uniform to school, not own clothes.
If I wear something I really like or gets picked up on by anyone else, I think I shall write about it here. But for now, it is holiday and weekend wear!

Keep safe and warm,
Haze

p.s.

Can I just say, my mum's new coat is lush :D
Doesn't she look cute?
^_^

Creation

[11:36:14 PM] Marissa Kusik: you should do one of those fashion things, where you take a picture of your outfit every day and explain it :D

So guys and gals, this is what this is.

Hello messy room and shocked Daniel Radcliffe.
So! Today I have gone for the Primark Essentials long sleeved nautical theme colour top, which is warm, comfortable and had a lovely neckline, for me personally anyway. I have accompanied it with a purple cardigan with charmingly triangular buttonss and cute gathering at the back at the nape of the neck. I'm really fond of this cardigan, and it's quite new! My mother has just mended the sleeve on it though, I ripped right up the sleeve of the right arm from tugging it off to violently the night I first wore it. Don't get me wrong, I was distraught, and it was a completely innocent TUG!
I am wearing, here, my lovely skinny jeans, which have these lighter patches that have been worn in before purchase, giving them a slight crocodile feel to them, don't you think? Anyway, they're just a little bit too long, so I had to roll them under a little bit so that they didn't buckle before my shoes tonight. Which were...

My girly Vans! I love them a rather a lot, and feel that I choose other shoes over these these days far too often, so I decided to dig them out of their perfect, battered state and batter them some more by hitting the streets and going to a comedy gig.

So, my less than creative, but balanced look tonight was one of "Keep warm and casual."

Photographs will improve when I am not just using my webcam!

Keep safe and warm,
Haze
